O.k. so it's 7/2010 and 22 years, the bio doesn't change but I am getting the cross country motorcycle and stock photography shooting trip I've wished to do for a while in.  So by fall I may have a "new book" on here, I do hope you'll check back- Randall

2009 marks 21 years of Randall Bohl Photography.

His assignments are about evenly split between the studio and location work, with a dash of production work in      the  film industry.  The fantasy goal is to pile all the studio work in during the heat of summer, shoot fantastic dawn and dusk shots and travel a bit to do it.

Randall has been shooting since receiving his first 35mm SLR in 1977.  There was a break for college, Western Michigan University.  And four years as assistant at Jim Powell Advertising Photography in Kalamazoo.

Randall Bohl Photography began in San Francisco (9th and Folsom Streets, to be exact).  After three years in the Bay Area, Randall relocated to the warmer, dryer climes of Scottsdale, Arizona in 1990.

His portfolio (www.randallbohl.com) includes a wide variety of commercial/advertising photography, as well as some personal work.  In a sense, he considers it all personal work as he just likes shooting.  "Light AND shadows are my friends, and I've collected plenty of toys to play with them," Randall notes.

For digital work specific to your needs, Randall Bohl Photography will be happy to send PDF files for review.  And surprise: film is still available, in 35mm, Medium Format Hasselblad and 4X5" View Camera (color trans and B&W print portfolios available upon request).  Lighting includes Speedotron, Norman, Metz, Canon, White Lightning, the sun, flashlights, matches, candles and on a good night the moon.

Randall's personal passion outside of photography is travel by motorcycle-down the street, through the woods or across the country.  It it has two wheels and a motor, he probably likes it.

Randall Bohl Photography- "faster than the speed of darkness."
